This handsome lad is Mylo and he is 20 months old.
Mylo is a typical Greyhound and he has a high prey drive that will chase anything that moves including leaves blowing past in the wind.
He has mixed well with other dogs while he has been here but we would reccommend dogs of his size and energy level so wee tooties don'tget bowled over.
He would not be suitable to be rehomed around cats or small furries due to his high prey drive... But he's a lurcher and if you know lurchers this isn't a surprise.
He has been around older children but they would have to be confident as he is boisterious ( think Zebedee) and is known to jump up and knock you over as he comes in for cuddles.
Mylo is easily distracted and his recall is non existant. A new owner will have to be willing to put the time and patience into his training but also accept recall may be something he isnt good at and will need to be kept on a lead. Visits to a secure dog park would be amazing for him so he can burn off his energy and work on his training in safety.
Mylo has been known to destroy the odd pillow along with his own cuddly toys (so regular visits to the pet shop to stock up may be on the cards) He loves boomer ball and will chase tennis balls all day if you let him,.
Mylo loves a cosy bed to cuddle up on.
Mylo is very affectionate and he loves to be around people. He would suit an active home where he can be involved in daily tasks and adventures.
Please ensure you meet all his needs before applying
