Bottom Kennel Block Flooded

Wednesday the 12th of August was one of those days!
Like most of Aberdeen Mrs Murray's also was affected by the heavy downpour and our lowest lying bottom kennel block and exercise runs were affected.

Staff had to wade through the flood water to evacuate the dogs in that block.
They thought it was great fun!
Staff not so much.

All dogs were safely relocated to other kennel blocks within the Home

Once the rain stopped and the levels receeded,a huge mop up got underway.

2020 has been a trying time for the Home, with the Covid-19 restrictions heavily denting donations to the Home.

If you would like to help support the work of Mrs Murray's you can do so here.

Donate to Mrs Murrays

Each year over 1500 animals pass through our doors - most abandoned or unwanted. The Home is a registered charity and is largely dependent on donations, legacies and the support of the public to help fund the cost of looking after the animals and securing their future.
