Lovable Loki

This lovable lump is Loki and he is 3 years old.

Loki would love an active family that will take him out on adventures to explore what the world has to offer for this lovely lad. Loki has been around other dogs and he has been socialising with some while he has been here but true to his collie nature when he becomes overexcited and over stimulated he will herd and get nippy. For this reason a lot of dogs will fall out on him as they don't like this behaviours. He will need a patient and understanding owner that has the time and experience to continue his socialising and training. Due to this behaviour he is not suitable to be rehomed into a home wit other animals at present.

Loki has been around children in his previous home but they have said he will herd them if they are playing or he gets to excited and he will nip so we feel it is best he is homed into an adult only home until he has some more training. He would be fine meeting up with children in the extended family on occasions but they would have to keep quiet and calm around him until he settles.

Loki is a really happy lad and he loves to be close to you. He is eager to please and he loves attention. He isn't the best with his recall at present so he will need some work on this in an enclosed area. He will need access to a secure garden to continue with his toilet training as he can still sometimes need to go out during the night :)

If you are lucky enough to be popping off on some holidays in the next couple of weeks sadly this may not be the right time for you to apply for Loki as he is actively looking for his new home to settle into :)
