About Major

Major is a typical young German Shepherd she is full of beans but takes a minute to bond and trust you as everyone is suspects to start with :) She loves to run around and play and socialises well with other doggie friends although sometimes they get scared of her size and silly nature. She will need an experienced home with someone who understands the breed and has time time and skills to continue her training.

Reason for Rehoming

Major's previous owner sadly did not keep good health.

Major has a full clean bill of health with no known health conditions.

Training & Home Life

• Housetrained: Yes - Knows to go in the garden to toilet
• Crate trained: Not used to - This is something you could work on if needed
• Left alone: Prefers someone at home for most of the day
• Lead walking: Walks well on her harness and lead
• Off lead: Has good recall but can be easily distracted
• Travelling: Travels well secured in the boot of car
• Escaping: Would like a secure garden to go in and out of

Behaviour & Socialising

• People: Very happy and excitable when she knows you - Takes time to gain trust
• Children: Older kids due to her shy nature
• Dogs: Has been socialising well while she has been here
• Cats: Not suitable as she will chase
