About Nova

Nova is a pampered princess that needs to be the queen in her new home. She loves to be pampered, cuddles on demand and her food served to her on time :) Nova is such a loving and affectionate girl with people but doesn't do as well around other doggy friends. Nova is a real home girl and loves nothing more then a cosy bed to snuggle on and a servant to supply her meals.

Reason for Rehoming

Sadly Nova arrived to us as a stray with no know background - She was rehomed for a short spell but that did not work out as she was so strong.

Health

Nova his a grade 2 heart murmur. This does not cause her any problems and does not need any medication but it is not something we can say would not get worse over time with age.

Training & Home Life

• Housetrained: Yes - Lets you know she needs out.
• Crate trained: No - Been free roam.
• Left alone: Good - Gets left to free roam.
• Lead walking: is a good walker on her harness and lead - Does need to wear a muzzle when she is out.
• Off lead: Has good recall when she can be let off in a secure dog park.
• Travelling: Travels well secured into boot of car.
• Escaping: Would need a fully secure garden with 6ft fencing.

Behaviour & Socialising

• People: Affectionate and cuddly. Loves her people and being close to you.
  
• Children: Best suited with teenagers due to her reactivity towards dogs while on walks.
• Dogs: Must be muzzled but with the time and training could improve.
• Cats: Not suitable.

Sleeping Arrangements

Nova is a princess and she loves to be up on the bed right next to you cuddled in. She is fond of a sofa too :)

• Loves her walks and exploring.

Ideal Home for Nova

• A calm home with adults or older children
• No other pets
• A fully secure garden
• Someone who is willing to put the time into her training and socialising
• a new family that don't mind sharing there bed with this snoring diva

"Nova is a beautiful girl who is so gentle and affectionate, She loves her home comforts and when spending time in the staff accommodation she has her zoomies to begin with then sprawls out on the sofa usually head on the arm rest and back legs kicked out and snores the evening away. It is a surprise that she has not found her forever home and she is such a special girl"
