Breed: Lurcher

Sex: Neutered Male

Stan is an affectionate lad but can be a little shy and reserved to start. He will need a calming owner with the patience to help him build his confidence and flourish. He has had an ongoing skin condition that has been treated while he has been here but it may need vet treatment if it flares up again in the future.

Reason for Rehoming

Sadly Stan arrived to the centre as a stray and no owner came forward to claim him.

Health

Stan has a skin condition that is currently under control but this may flare up from time to time and need treatment.

Training & Home Life

• Housetrained: May need a small refresher in his new environment.
• Crate trained: Unknown - Will need to be worked on in new home.
• Left alone: Unknown - Seems to be happy and content.
• Lead walking: Good on his walks and walks well on the lead - Can be shy in new places.
• Off lead: Not suitable unless in a fully secure dog park.
• Travelling: Travels well secured into boot of car.
• Escaping: Would need a fully secure garden with 6ft fencing.

Behaviour & Socialising

• People: Loving & Cuddly.
  
• Children: Could be rehomed around older children with the correct introductions.
• Dogs: Walks well in group walks and loves other sight hounds.
• Cats: Not suitable due to high prey drive.

Sleeping Arrangements

Stan will like a cosy bed to snuggle up on.
