This Christmas consider giving a donation to help us to coninue providing shelter to those animals in need.
Who would have thought back in March this year that the North East and indeed the whole country would still be under strict regulations due to Covid-19!
Its had a big impact on everyone, including Mrs Murray's. The financial impact on Mrs Murray's is now well in to 6 figures - The loss of income from boarding especially has had a significant impact as has the loss from fundraising.
So this Christmas we are asking you to make a monetary donation to see us through the winter time and well into the new year.
*Heating and Light bills still mount up - especially as the weather turns colder and days are shorter
*vet bills keep ongoing - do you know most of the animals that come through our doors needs some sort of veterinary treatment before they are released for adoption..... dentals and ear complaints being the two most common, some dogs are so badly matted that they need sedated and shaved, we also neuter all those old enough,
*enrichment to keep them stimulated and engaged during their stay with us - every day
* Dogs and cats with special needs - we are currently caring long term for an elderly diabetic cat and another elderly puss on thyroid medication with kidney disease.
All this goes on despite Covid
All our normal fundraising activities ceased this year - They were a large part of our income along with donations and legacies .
We also suffered a flood back in August - along with a large part of Aberdeen. You the public rallied around and made sure we were stocked up with food and cosy new blankets - for which we are still eternally grateful for.
We think every petshop in the area was sold out after you rose to the call

We have managed to keep open to provide shelter for lost animals so they could be reunited and find homes for those who sadly had to be given up by their owners.
Provide veterinary care, a warm bed and a full tummy. Again thanks to you.
Your donations make a difference!
As we all move forwards on this Covid-19 path, we do so together - hand in hand, paw by paw, every step of the way x
Merry Christmas from all at Mrs Murray's x
